Hardwoods, like jarrah don’t like being in the ‘outdoors’ and buckles and warps over time and in different seasons.
Western Red Cedar is also rich in decay resistant extractives.
Western Red Cedar also have flame spread and smoke development classifications that are superior to the minimum levels set by the building codes.
